A-tisket, a-tasket...

Day 81/365
...a pink and rainbow basket! This was the project of the day in our Monday art class. Enavi was one of the first kids to finish, and she credits her success to all of the weaving that she has been doing on her homemade loom. This was not Jevin's favorite project, and he will be finishing up his basket later in the week.

Yarn Bombing

Day 63/365
Have you heard of yarn bombing? I recently watched a TED talk about how this phenomenon was started and then I saw these trees at the Verona library. They were lovely spots of color that brightened a gray and snowy afternoon.
