Playing Around
I wanted to test out my new 50mm lens and Jevin was happy to oblige. I love the dramatic lighting, with the shadows falling over half of his face. I'm glad that my kiddos don't run away when I pull the camera out, at least not yet.

Painting Pottery
The kids earned a special reward for filling our rock jar because of hard work and good behavior. We painted pottery and visited a local coffee shop for some treats. I can't wait to see the pottery once it's fired.

Cider Party

Cookies for Cubbies
I help with our Cubbies program at Awana and tonight our verse is from Romans 5:8: "While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Our theme for the night is C is for Christ, and the perfect snack to go with the letter C is chocolate chip cookies.
