Miss Jen Party

Day 18/365
This little man decided to throw a "Miss Jen Party" and invite all of the Miss Jen's that he knows (which is myself and one other Miss Jen!). It made my birthday extra special to spend the morning playing games, seeing Transformers do their thing and eat treats. What a great idea for a party, if I do say so myself!

Drippy, Foggy Day

Day 8/365
It was a dreary day with lots of fog and on again/off again rain. I shot this early this morning, just after taking out the garbage. I saw the drops hanging from the branches and hightailed it inside for my camera. The rain held off long enough for me to capture these suspended drops.

Playing with Clay

Playing with Bokeh

Day 6/365
We took down the Christmas decorations today. Before they were packed away for another year, I wanted to try a technique that I had read about, but had never gotten the chance to test out. I made a cover for my lens with a heart shape cut out of it and played around with the focus until I was able to see the lights on the tree transformed into heart shapes. I really like the end result!

Happiest of New Year Wishes

Day 1/365
I have really missed my Project 365! It was nice to have a break over the last year, but I am looking forward to getting back into the habit of shooting pictures each and every day. Today we celebrated the new year with a sledding party with friends and a visit with my sister. The wind was chilly, as you can see from this little one's pink cheeks, but that didn't keep us from enjoying the day.
