Day 305/366
Jevin was going for "slightly spooky" with his pumpkin design. I think he nailed it!
I love the way the light filters through the remaining leaves in the forest and makes this goldenrod glow.
Since the forecast is calling for rain showers the next couple of days, I took advantage of the nicer weather and went for a hike at Indian Lake County Park. There isn't a lot of flowers left blooming, but many of the trails were dotted with prairie fleabane. The white flowers and bright, sunny centers are always cheery.
I try not to include too many photos from clients in my personal 365 project, but this capture was too sweet not to share. This family holds a special place in my heart and their little guy is just about the cutest thing ever! It was a chilly evening, but the light was magical and I gasped when I saw this photo float across my screen as I was downloading the images. This may be my new favorite photo of 2020.
We have had the most glorious stretch of weather. We're going to soak up as much sun as we can before the cooler weather sets in.
We have had the most beautiful fall weather this week. Warm, sunny days and cool, clear nights. This is my favorite time of year!
We picked a very wind day to attempt school pictures. I think we managed to get some that we can use despite the challenging conditions. This is one of my favorites of the kids together.
The yellow wildflowers are still abundant in nearby field, chasing away the gloomy skies.
As I was driving home from a photo session last night, I was captivated by the sky. Near sunset, the horizon was dotted with several different rain showers, but the sun was still shining brightly, creating a beautiful contrast. I had to pull over and capture the rain shower in one corner of the sky and the sun in the other.
