Inky Landscapes

Day 103/365
We took another alcohol ink class tonight, with Carrie and Nana Sue. We learned how to make three different landscapes including a moonlit mountain range and a vibrant sunset. Even though we all learned the same techniques, everyone's art turned out completely different. I'm so thankful that we could spend the evening together, making beautiful works of art.

Foggy Sunrise

The fog was beautiful this morning, and I was delighted to see the vibrant sunrise over the Mount Vernon valley.

Shy Crocus

I've been watching these little guys for weeks. They sprouted, grew their lovely outer petals... and then refused to open in protest over the cold temperatures. The sun and slightly warmer temps coaxed these shy crocuses to open their blooms, just a little bit.

Puzzling

It was a gray, damp, chilly day - perfect puzzle weather! We stumbled upon this new puzzle at the Bargain Nook for only $3. Who can resist a Mardi Gras cat?
