We celebrated my mom's birthday today. We enjoyed a yummy dinner (grilled brats, grilled veggies, watermelon and strawberry shortcake), visited, and played cards! We played a card game that was a mandatory part of every Newberry family gathering when I was growing up: Polish Poker. It was the first time the kids played it and they were hooked. Grandpa Ken was the big winner of the night. It was such a blessing to have everyone here to share in Nana Sue's special day.
